The variables included in the model were age, history of hypertension, diabetes mellitus, multivessel coronary artery disease, previous aortic or peripheral intervention, previous hospitalization for heart failure, left ventricular ejection fraction, estimated glomerular filtration (eGFR) rate, use of vitamin K antagonists, and use of statins. A stepwise approach was used with forward selection (the p value for entering into the stepwise model was set at 0.05).
