Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators With Versus Without Resynchronization Therapy in Patients With a QRS Duration >180 ms
J Am Coll Cardiol 2017;69:2026–36.
In Figure 1, the relative density curve for the implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) group should follow the same course as the relative density curve for the cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (CRT-D) group, as indicated in the figure legend, but was displayed incorrectly as a result of the conversion of the original grayscale figure to the version with color. The corrected figure is presented here.
In the Results section of the abstract, the last sentence indicates “with LBBB” instead of “with non-LBBB,” as specified in the original version. The correct sentence is as follows:
CRT-D versus ICD was associated with an improvement in survival in those with non-LBBB and a QRSD ≥180 ms (adjusted HR for death: 0.78; 95% CI: 0.68 to 0.91), but not in those with non-LBBB and a QRSD 150 to 179 ms (adjusted HR for death: 1.06; 95% CI: 0.95 to 1.19).
In the Methods section of the abstract, last sentence, “longer than 4 years” should have read “over 4 years,” as in the original version. The correct sentence is as follows:
Mortality and heart failure hospitalizations over 4 years with CRT-D versus standard ICDs based on QRSD and morphology were analyzed.
The online version has been corrected.
We and the authors apologize for these errors.
