To analyze the psychologic status of patients with dilated cardiomyopathy, provide scientific basis for clinical psychologic care, and apply effective psychologic interventions according to the analytic results.
PHQ-9 (patient health questionnaire) and GAD-7 (general anxiety disorder) scale were employed to evaluate patients in treatment and control group. Patients in control group use original psychological care management, including hospitalized evaluation, cognition of ideological trend of patients and relatives. Patients in treatment group receive collective psychological care, individual psychological intervention, behavioral therapy, establishment of family therapy environment and social supportive therapy.
Through assessment of PHQ9 and GAD-7, we found serious psychological stress with more anxious and depressive status cases in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy. After psychological intervention for 2 weeks, scores of PHQ-9 and GAD-7 in patients from treatment group were significantly decreased
Indicating that psychological intervention could effectively improve anxious and depressive status and promote treatment compliance in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy.
