IB-RAcute water ingestion is recommended in patients with syncope caused by neurogenic OH for occasional, temporary relief (287,288).
IIaC-LDPhysical counter-pressure maneuvers can be beneficial in patients with neurogenic OH with syncope (236,289–294).
IIaC-LDCompression garments can be beneficial in patients with syncope and OH (295–299).
IIaB-RMidodrine can be beneficial in patients with syncope due to neurogenic OH (300–309).
IIaB-RDroxidopa can be beneficial in patients with syncope due to neurogenic OH (242,310–313).
IIaC-LDFludrocortisone can be beneficial in patients with syncope due to neurogenic OH (314–317).
IIbC-LDEncouraging increased salt and fluid intake may be reasonable in selected patients with neurogenic OH (254,256,324–326).
IIbC-LDPyridostigmine may be beneficial in patients with syncope due to neurogenic OH who are refractory to other treatments (308,318,319).
IIbC-LDOctreotide may be beneficial in patients with syncope and refractory recurrent postprandial or neurogenic OH (320–323).
