The Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC) is pleased to continue to support its global readership through the launch of three international editions in Chinese, Portuguese and Spanish. Each will include translated JACC manuscripts with the most relevance to these local communities, as well as original content. The editors-in-chief for these editions are Han Ya-Ling, MD, PhD, FACC, for the Chinese-language issues, Edimar Bocchi, MD, PhD, for the Portuguese-language issues, and Antonio Bayés de Luna, MD, FACC, for the Spanish-language issues.
I am Dr. Antonio Bayés de Luna, Emeritus Professor of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and I have the great pleasure to present the Spanish version of the prestigious Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC), whose Editor-in-Chief is Dr. Valentin Fuster. I am in agreement to him, when he says that the journal is maintained on the top of cardiological journals, because it publishes many original papers weekly and reviews with the aim to aid clinical and cardiovascular investigators in taking care of patients and helping them in their research initiatives. The Journal has a very high impact factor, but what is really important is that the Journal produce a great impact to the readers.
